Bacon Cheeseburger Soup
4 tablespoons butter
Cook ground beef in a frying pan and drain.
To the softened veggies, add the flour and cook until combined.
Add the beef broth to the stock pot and when warmed add the cream cheese and tomatoes.
Add the ground beef, and the pickles.
1 pound ground beef (80/20) cooked and drained
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
6 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons flour (optional)
3-4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (I use Tillamook sharp cheddar)
1 cup half and half
8 ounces cream cheese
small can of tomatoes (optional)
½ cup chopped garlic dill pickles
1 pound of bacon, cooked – drained and chopped
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
6 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons flour (optional)
3-4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (I use Tillamook sharp cheddar)
1 cup half and half
8 ounces cream cheese
small can of tomatoes (optional)
½ cup chopped garlic dill pickles
1 pound of bacon, cooked – drained and chopped
salt and pepper to taste – the cheese adds a good amount of
salt, garlic powder is always good too.
Top with chopped tomatoes, chopped lettuce, cheddar cheese
and bacon.
