Whipped Shortbread Cookies

1 cup butter

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt, less if using salted butter

2 cups all purpose flour

2 tablespoons corn starch

Preheat oven to 325

Combine butter and powdered sugar and beat with stand mixer until very light and fluffy (minimum five minutes).  Add vanilla and salt.  Whisk flour and corn starch together and then add to stand mixer   

 

Crab and Shrimp Pizza.

We had the best pizza at The Inn at Ottercrest Spyglass restaurant during our visit to the Oregon coast.  The description for this Crab and Shrimp Pizza was Dungeness Crab. Bay Shrimp, Fontina, Swiss. Tomato, Caesar Dressing sauce.

I want to try to make a similar pizza but I will first need to find a recipe for a pizza crust that is similar to the one we had.  It is probably the best pizza crust I have ever had.  It was a little chewy and was just perfect.
